Kuzey arkada\u015f\u0131 Sami ile Eski Fo\u00e7a\u2019da Karayel isimli oteli i\u015fletmektedir. 1998 y\u0131l\u0131nda Rum k\u00f6yleriyle ilgili ara\u015ft\u0131rma yapmak i\u00e7in Eski Fo\u00e7a\u2019ya gelen gen\u00e7 ve g\u00fczel \u015eafak Karayel Oteli\u2019nde kal\u0131r. \u015eafak, Kuzey\u2019e \u00e2\u015f\u0131k olur. 2003 y\u0131l\u0131nda otele \u00c7i\u011fdem gelir. D\u00fc\u015f K\u0131rg\u0131nlar\u0131 izleyiciyi a\u015fka ve sevgiye dair d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmeye iten sorular i\u00e7eriyor. Bir kad\u0131n ve bir erke\u011fin birbirine \u00e2\u015f\u0131k olmalar\u0131 nas\u0131l a\u00e7\u0131klanabilir? \u0130nsan \u00e2\u015f\u0131k olmaya haz\u0131r olur mu? Sevgi ya\u015fa g\u00f6re de\u011fi\u015fir mi? A\u015fk se\u00e7im yapmak m\u0131? \u015eafak delice \u00e2\u015f\u0131k oldu\u011fu adama soruyor, kal demek bu kadar m\u0131 zor? Kuzey filmin son sahnelerinde \u00e2deta \u00f6z ele\u015ftiri yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 kendi i\u00e7indeki konu\u015fmalar\u0131nda buna cevab\u0131n\u0131 veriyor ama gene de pi\u015fmanl\u0131k yakas\u0131n\u0131 b\u0131rakm\u0131yor.<\/p>\n

Yap\u0131mc\u0131 Nur G\u00fcne\u015f, kadrajlar\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclerek olu\u015fturuldu\u011funu, r\u00fczg\u00e2rda u\u00e7an perdelerin ya da \u015eafak ve Kuzey\u2019in ard\u0131 s\u0131ra u\u00e7an siyah torban\u0131n tesad\u00fcf olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yl\u00fcyor. T\u0131pk\u0131 g\u00fcne\u015fli bir g\u00fcnde Kuzey\u2019in penceresine yans\u0131yan deniz g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcs\u00fc gibi. Bu bir kavu\u015fman\u0131n sembolik anlat\u0131m\u0131 ayn\u0131 zamanda. Asl\u0131nda \u015eafak\u2019\u0131n Kuzey\u2019e olan deli a\u015fk\u0131n\u0131n demek daha do\u011fru olur \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc Kuzey kendini sevemeyen insan\u0131n ba\u015fkas\u0131n\u0131 da sevemeyece\u011fine bir \u00f6rnek. Hareket eden, karar almaktan \u00e7ekinmeyen \u015eafak. Kuzey\u2019in hayat\u0131 ise yerlerde ezilen solmu\u015f begonviller gibi.<\/p>\n

Selim G\u00fcne\u015f dikkatli, titiz bir y\u00f6netmen. D\u00fc\u015f K\u0131rg\u0131nlar\u0131 Fo\u00e7a\u2019da terk edilmi\u015f bir tatil k\u00f6y\u00fcnde \u00e7ekilmi\u015f a\u015fka, sevmeye dair bir film. Dalgalar\u0131n sesi, c\u0131r c\u0131r b\u00f6cekleri, r\u00fczg\u00e2r atmosferi yans\u0131tmakta olduk\u00e7a yerinde kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015f. Art\u0131k \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmayan bir otelin sahibinin yaln\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, pi\u015fmanl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131, kay\u0131plar\u0131n\u0131 anlat\u0131rken ortamda olmayan m\u00fczi\u011fin kullan\u0131lmad\u0131\u011f\u0131, uzun plan sekanslarla ilerleyen g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerin oldu\u011fu bir film belki daha az izleyici \u00e7ekebilir ama bu filmin duygusuna daha uygun olurmu\u015f. Uzun plan sekanslarla izleyici Kuzey\u2019in yaln\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131na, \u015eafak\u2019\u0131n d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015flerine daha \u00e7ok d\u00e2hil olup, kendi i\u00e7inde sordu\u011fu sorular\u0131n yan\u0131tlar\u0131 ile daha \u00e7ok bo\u011fu\u015furdu. Ama gene de film Kuzey\u2019in ve \u015eafak\u2019\u0131n duygular\u0131n\u0131 ge\u00e7irmekte ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131. Bitti\u011finde koltu\u011funuzda neler oldu orada, ba\u015fka neler olabilirdi diye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnebilirsiniz. Hatta farkl\u0131 sonlar yazabilirsiniz kafan\u0131zda. D\u00fc\u015f K\u0131rg\u0131nlar\u0131, sinemam\u0131zda, ad\u0131ndan \u00e7ok\u00e7a s\u00f6z ettiren bir \u00e7ok ba\u015fka y\u00f6netmenin olduk\u00e7a dikkatsiz, harc\u0131\u00e2lem i\u015fler \u00e7\u0131kartt\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde y\u00f6netmen olarak Selim G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019in \u00f6zg\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, sanat y\u00f6netimi, oyuncu y\u00f6netimi, g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fc y\u00f6netmenli\u011findeki ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131 ile \u00f6nemli bir yere sahip olacak.<\/p>\n

Selim G\u00fcne\u015f, elektrik m\u00fchendisli\u011fi ve i\u015fletme e\u011fitimi ald\u0131ktan sonra 1989 y\u0131l\u0131nda foto\u011fraf \u00e7ekmeye ba\u015flad\u0131. \u0130stanbul Foto\u011fraf ve Sinema Amat\u00f6rleri Derne\u011fi\u2019nin sinemaya kazand\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 foto\u011fraf\u00e7\u0131lardan biri. Onun foto\u011fraflar\u0131na bak\u0131nca \u0130stanbul\u2019a \u00e2\u015f\u0131k bir foto\u011fraf\u00e7\u0131 diyebiliriz. D\u00fcn var olan, bug\u00fcn kaybolmaya y\u00fcz tutan ve gelecekte var olmas\u0131n\u0131 istedi\u011fi \u0130stanbul g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerini \u00e7ekiyor. Selim G\u00fcne\u015f, 2008 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130stanbul Lodoslar Kenti isimli alb\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fc yay\u0131nlad\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, alb\u00fcm\u00fcn son foto\u011fraf\u0131 olarak Gelecek Program b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde hen\u00fcz afi\u015flerin yerini almad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir sinema foto\u011fraf\u0131n\u0131 kullanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Ve bu foto\u011fraf kitab\u0131ndan sonraki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 onun ilk sinema filmi oldu.<\/p>\n

Sabahattin Ali\u2019nin Ayran isimli \u00f6yk\u00fcs\u00fcnden uyarlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 Kar Beyaz\u2019\u0131 2010 y\u0131l\u0131nda yapt\u0131. Selim G\u00fcne\u015f foto\u011fraf\u00e7\u0131 kimli\u011fini de kullanarak sinemada da titiz \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ile dikkat \u00e7ekmi\u015fti. D\u00fc\u015f K\u0131rg\u0131nlar\u0131 Selim G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019in ikinci sinema filmi. \u0130lkinde oldu\u011fu gibi bu filminde de edebiyat, sinema ve foto\u011fraf\u0131 bulu\u015fturuyor. Mehmet Ero\u011flu\u2019nun ayn\u0131 isimli roman\u0131ndan sinemaya uyarlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 D\u00fc\u015f K\u0131rg\u0131nlar\u0131 a\u015fk\u0131, sevmeyi, pi\u015fmanl\u0131\u011f\u0131, biz olmay\u0131 deneyimlemeyi, ben olamamay\u0131, a\u015fk y\u00fcz\u00fcnden ac\u0131 \u00e7ekmeyi, terk etmeyi, kavu\u015fmay\u0131 sorguluyor. Y\u00f6netmen foto\u011fraf d\u00fcnyas\u0131na filminde Robert Capa\u2019n\u0131n foto\u011fraflar\u0131n yeterince iyi de\u011filse konuya yeterince yak\u0131n de\u011filsindir s\u00f6z\u00fc ile selam yolluyor.<\/p>\n
