Kar Beyaz<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00c7etin co\u011frafyalarda insanlar, ya\u015fam rutinlerini do\u011fan\u0131n \u015fartlar\u0131na g\u00f6re belirliyor. Do\u011fa, insanlar\u0131n hareket kabiliyetini ve diren\u00e7 seviyesini, kendi \u00f6zellikleri do\u011frultusunda \u015fekillendiriyor. Dahas\u0131 co\u011frafi ko\u015fullar, orada ya\u015fayanlar\u0131n hayallerinin s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 ve ya\u015fam\u0131 alg\u0131lad\u0131klar\u0131 renkler konusunda da \u00f6nemli bir belirleyici etken. Sabahattin Ali\u2019nin Ayran isimli \u00f6yk\u00fcs\u00fcnden uyarlanan Kar Beyaz da b\u00f6yle bir film. 12 Mart 1971 muht\u0131ras\u0131n\u0131n akabinde, Do\u011fu Karadeniz\u2019in bir da\u011f k\u00f6y\u00fcnde ge\u00e7en k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck \u00f6yk\u00fcs\u00fcnde, insanlar\u0131n bu sert iklimle olan ili\u015fkisini arka plana al\u0131yor. \u00d6n planda ise, babas\u0131 cezaevinde oldu\u011fu, annesi bak\u0131c\u0131l\u0131k yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in yaln\u0131z kalan k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck karde\u015flerine bakmak zorunda olan ayran sat\u0131c\u0131s\u0131 k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck Hasan\u2019\u0131 izliyoruz. Filmin en dikkat \u00e7eken yan\u0131, e\u015fyan\u0131n kendili\u011finden, insan etkisiyle ya da do\u011faya direnirken \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131\u011f\u0131 seslerden meydana getirilmi\u015f ses kurgusu. G\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerden ayr\u0131 olarak da planlar, sekanslar olu\u015fturabilen e\u015fya sesleri, aksak ya da kurall\u0131 ritimler\u2026<\/p>\n

Kar Beyaz, Sabahattin Ali\u2019nin karanl\u0131k \u00f6yk\u00fclerindeki kenarda kalm\u0131\u015fl\u0131k ve direni\u015f temalar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir bi\u00e7imde aktarabiliyor ve yine de umudu elden b\u0131rakm\u0131yor. Ne de olsa \u00e7ay oca\u011f\u0131 sahibinin \u201cBu havada so\u011fuk ayran m\u0131 sat\u0131l\u0131rm\u0131\u015f!\u201d c\u00fcmlesine cevap yine filmden geliyor: \u201cNerede hayat varsa, orada umut vard\u0131r.\u201d<\/p>\n

In resilient geographies, people designate their routines in accordance with the conditions of nature. Nature shapes the motility and endurance levels of human beings in accordance with its own properties. Moreover, geographical conditions determine the borders of people\u2019s dreams, even the colours that they perceive. Adapted from Sabahattin Ali\u2019s short story called Ayran -from the yoghurt drink-, White as Snow is such a film. Set in the days that follow the coup d\u2019etat of 12 March 1971, the film\u2019s story is set in a small mountain village in the eastern part of the Black Sea region of Turkey, and uses the relationship between the people of this village and this tough climate as a backdrop, while in the foreground we follow little Hasan who sells ayran because he has to take care of his little siblings while his father is in prison and his mother is not at home, working as caretaker. The most conspicuous aspect of the film is its sound design which comprises the intrinsic, man-inflicted or resisting sounds of objects. And sounds of objects that can form plans or sequences, regular or interrupted rhythms\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

White as Snow can powerfully convey the themes of abandonment and resistance in Sabahattin Ali\u2019s darkling stories but still grabs on to hope. Anyway, when the teashop owner asks \u201cwhy would you sell ayran when the weather is so cold,\u201d the reply comes from within the film: \u201cWhere there is life, there is hope.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
